Invincible Rhythms: Stuart Hameroff is very close to embracing Noncommutative Quantum Music as the secret of reality: will Bandyopadhyay create a Nanobrain?

So he has recently mixed together different music styles as a "metaphor" but previously he was more specific about what type of music would be specific to this macroquantum resonance of reality.

Indeed, microtubule resonant vibrations have been likened to music, specifically anharmonic Indian Raga (Ghosh et al, 2014).

Oh I never looked up that source!

Ah yes we already corresponded.

quantum music vid by Anirban Bandyopadhyay - vid

yes I posted a comment three years ago but I don't remember the vid. haha.

Geometry of silence plays like a musical instrument to mimic a human brain;

So the amplitude grows as a SUBHARMONIC

http://iioir.org/

So here as the frequency gets smaller as subharmonics then the amplitude increases.

So they are calling it Platonic values but Sir Roger Penrose has recently - within the last five years or so - come out publicly that in fact he is relying now on NONCOMMUTATIVE PHASE logic (which is NOT Platonic).

I had this discussion with Bandyopadhyay as well - and he agreed that the Spheres that he is using to connect the different levels of time/frequency are the BLOCH SPHERES of noncommutative phase.

So he calls it a "fractal" but it's not really a fractal in the traditional sense of the word as he agreed in the noncommutative music model of reality.

I discussed this with him in terms of Indian traditional music - as I recall. I would have to recheck my emails - I have them posted on the blog.

So here we have Dr.  Stuart Hameroff literally relying on music - not just as a metaphor but as the model of reality and with Dr. Bandyopadhyay this truth is much more explicit.

AH I found the reference!!

Ah so it's not really noncommutative phase music.

Ah so he does include the Bloch Sphere....

So the two common music notes are the Bloch Sphere as noncommutative phase of the 12 note scale.

the ancient music-theories mentioned 22 Srutis, although only 14 were used as Svaras (notes). Ramamatya reduced the number of Srutis to 12, because, he said, the difference in pitch between Antara Ga and Cyuta Ma (prefix cyuta means lowered) and the notes were negligible. He specified the implementation of this tuning by describing the location of six frets on his Veena

Right - so the Veena ia noncommutative phase music.
