Tipi camping while Farm Sitting: Shivering with Shiva is a great way to lose weight: Birds do it, so why not?

The one on the right is over 7 and 1/2 feet tall - but doesn't look that much taller than the other one which is 5 feet 11 inches tall....

So just a couple of Chinese Tipis hanging out on the farm.

Only the taller one still stinks of Mineral Spirits Solvent. So now I have it flipped inside out and set up outside to hopefully finally get the solvent evaporated. The good news is the only PVC smell left is from the stove pipe "jack" or covering. I forgot to spray that. So I'll go do that soon.

Luckily this Shiva statute was set up by the pole Shed - so I had good company for my full lotus meditation. I got in four hours of small universe meditation and then I ate some food. I did a bit of full lotus meditation the next morning.

Notice this statue has the right leg on top - that is for external energy transmission or "teaching."

So my University activist-meditation buddy also went to India several times. So that's probably where the statute is from because he told me he had a bunch of crafts and arts stuff shipped wholesale from India - something like that.

So I didn't have my sleeping bag and the wind was really fierce. The canvas tipi lacks the center stakes - midway on the walls - so the wind leaks in easily. That's how I got the FREE big tipi because I pointed out this to Pomoly and the nice owner sent me the free PVC tipi. haha. Sure it's toxic and carcinogenic but I think I fixed that with the silicone....

So birds lose HALF their body weight every night by shivering to stay warm during the winter. The muscles are contracted. The diaphragm is the biggest muscle in humans after the glutes. So I just did lots of Tummo breathing to activate the tummo heat and this kept me from shivering too much. I still shivered since my tummo meditation is not as good as it used to be. haha.

So I was gonna try use the stove but it just wasn't cold enough - even though it got down to shivering. Also I did not have the spark arrestor. The spark arrestor that came with the stove is not good enough. So the new spark arrestor also will have the three rings to tie down for wind. I need to get some steel wire for those connections.

So I had the stove pipe in the car - all rolled together. And the stove pipe was by the shift because it's too long so it has to go past the front seats. I moved my hand up to shift the car and I slit my skin from the stove pipe - it was a perfect cut deep into the skin. Luckily I didn't hit my bone!

So now I have a "butterfly" band aid that kind of pulls the cut together and I put lots of tea tree oil on it.

So I should get a very cool scar on my finger - if it heals properly.
