I blogged on this before.
An ordinary geometric space, such as a compact Riemannian space, has an associated scale in the musical sense as exemplified in the famous lecture “can one hear the shape of a drum" of Marc Kac [7].
That's from Conne's 2020 Rhythmic Motive music composition proof of the Riemann Hypothesis prediction of prime number distribution....
https://www.maths.ed.ac.uk/~v1ranick/papers/leeriemm.pdf
So they're talking about the "inner transform" or what Connes calls "internal harmony" as a noncommutative matrix.
So Connes talks about a Type III to Type II - and I wondered how this relates to the (2, 3, infinity) music model.
So Connes big point then is that the rational noncommutative ratios on the noncommutative torus create a "zero point" in space as the rotational time rate of the torus. So the wavelength is the noncommutative inverse of the frequency - such that the "double quotient" of the Triple Spectral then converges to a zero point in space since one of the ratios is "not allowed."
"For a rotation whose two rotation angles have a rational ratio, the paths will eventually reconnect;"
That means the Riemann music scale is the commutative conversion while the "chords" or melody of the scale - the "MUSIC" of the shapes as Connes calls it - is the "internal harmony" that is noncommutative as the 5th dimension.
"prime numbers (...) constitute a more stable reality than the material reality that surround us" (p. 12) "every bit as constraining as physical reality, but one that's far more stable than physical reality, for it is not being located in space-time" (p. 28).
This is so wild!!!
"mathematical reality, in its very structure, its internal harmony, is an inexhaustible source of organization" (p. 125).https://arxiv.org/pdf/1812.09946.pdf Motivic Rhythms paper, 2020
So then the "tensor calculus" that Jack Sarfatti relies on is the same tensors of the Riemannian geometry.
So this is from Roger Shepherd - I had cited him before. This was published in the early 1980s.
Roger N. Shephard, 1982, in Psychology of Music.
So that is the noncommutative torus as music theory - with the "C sharp" as a "zigzag" (the term used by Olivier Costa de Beauregard from Richard Feynman) with C and D. The cross over ratio is in the 5th dimension as a moebius strip "twist" that can not be seen.
Reassessing the Ritz–Einstein debate on the radiation asymmetry in classical electrodynamics
pdf.
So Olivier Costa de Beauregard gave a talk at MIT in the 1970s - he referred to Walter Ritz arguing for a reverse time negentropy convergence of energy that then explains the paranormal.
O. Costa de Beauregard (1977). Two lectures on the direction of time. Synthese, 35(2), 129–154. doi:10.1007/bf00485493
So the Quantum probability view as a nonlocal "symmetry" won out but Costa de Beauregard is stating that the relativistic asymmetric view is of a macroquantum perception!! So that the asymmetric time is "fact like" and a de facto truth as a subjective interaction with the quantum measurement.
So Connes is big point is that Heisenberg discovered the Ritz-Rydberg absorption spectrum of light is noncommutative.
This means that the perpetuum mobile is in the 5th dimension and is nonlocal as protoconsciousness - it is not observable.
So in contrast to Ritz - both Connes and Costa de Beauregard consider the UNOBSERVABLE asymmetric converging reverse time as empirical existing - or the "internal harmony" as the de Broglie Law of Phase Harmony.
OK so the Internal Time is reverse time that is accelerating!! The quantum frequency is increasing as the internal negative frequency (it becomes negative at superluminal speed). The external time due to relativity is expanding or slowing down as it gets bigger and the frequency is going down as a red shift.
The "phase harmony" is the noncommutative time-frequency that is also nonlocal. So it is in the 5th dimension and thus only an "internal harmony."
Conversations on mind, matter, and mathematics
So this means the converging reverse time radiation is antigravity propulsion!!
Quantum-Spacetime Phenomenology
Living Reviews in Relativity is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal publishing reviews on relativity in the areas of physics and astrophysics. It was founded by Bernard Schutz and published at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics from 1998-2015
There, Mead contemplated the broadening of spectral lines possibly resulting from adopting the Planck length as the value of the minimum possible uncertainty in position measurements. Then, in works published in the 1980s and early 1990s, there were a few phenomenological studies, adopting the Planck scale as target and focusing essentially on the possibility that quantum-mechanical coherence might be spoiled by quantum-gravity effects.
Because of the double role of the gravitational field, which in some ways is just like another (e.g., electromagnatic) field given in spacetime but it is also the field that describes the structure of spacetime, in quantum-gravity research the idea that this classical field be replaced by a nonclassical one ends up amounting to two concepts: some sort of quantization of gravitational interactions (which might be mediated by a graviton) and some sort of quantization of spacetime structure.
Spacetime noncommutativity is an avenue for exploring the implications of the other side, the quantization of spacetime geometry.
