The heavy clay recharge rate is too slow for my water pump to be functional since it's only 1& 1/4" well pipe but I think it might recharge enough in one day to provide a survival amount of water! I pumped about a pint of water out of the 1 &1/4" well pipe. Yes it calculates to .018 cubic feet which is .135 gallons and a pint is .125 gallons - so makes sense!!
A pint of water a day?
There's a 2nd pipe next to it that might get recharged also - so maybe a half gallon a day of water year-round.
