40% of people in the U.S. provide unpaid caregiving: The No Taxes for the Rich Brown-No$ing Fascism Revolt

 

A recent study reveals that more than 105 million people (40 percent of Americans) 

provide unpaid caregiving. This staggering figure reinforces a truth we’ve long known—

care is the core of who we are as a society. It’s the thread that connects us all, crossing 

every socioeconomic background, race, and stage of life.

Whether through child care, caring for a disabled person, or caring for an aging family 

member, caregiving is happening in homes across the country—often without the 

 necessary recognition or support.
