PP or Polypropylene Bags are NOT accepted at "plastic bag" drop off locations so what bags are? HDPE (#2) and LDPE (#4)

I was forwarded your question about recycling polypropylene bags. No, PP bags (#5) are not accepted in retail drop-off locations. They are only looking for polyethylene bags (#2 or #4).

There is a company that does recycle polypropylene bags - it's in British Columbia, Canada - by Vancouver. https://blueplanetrecycling.ca/materials-we-recycle/plastic-recycling/polypropylene-bulk-bags/

OK the water softener salt bags ARE accepted - and the Fertilizer bags are HDPE bags.

So HDPE is #2 and LDPE bags are #4 (water softener salt bags).

The PP bags are the woven grass seed bags, the thicker plastic bags and the thin crinkly clear plastic bags - none of those are accepted.

https://www.ipack.com/solutions/post/pe-pp  Here's a PP bag I was thinking of - it's thicker and clear but it's not really crinkly like that thin. It's not as clear....
Also there are these "woven" PP bags - like I had for grass seed - I had five bags of those.
OK that should cover it for now! haha.
