The heart is called Yi [unified power] becuz when intent moves, spirit is agitated; qi is dispersed. Qi is the Mother of spirit; Spirit is the child of qi. The Mother as qi is the horse that guides/conducts the river chariot (yin spirit) in the water (yin jing). Once your mind is away from the lower Elixir Field, your Qi will be led away from it and be consumed. By gathering the Shen into the lower tan tien then the Qi follows it there. Light of eyes descend as Yang fire inner yin qi line
Does the video continue in another post later i like the breakdown so basically you do the tumo breathing to help build up the energy does the adrenaline dump from the breathing help you hold the horse stance pose longer is that the secret to being able to hold it longer doing the tumor breathing? What type of program would you do to get the energy levels back to where they need to be in order to connect with the fith dimension for example like doing horse stance for 2 hours a day then doing spring forest qigong active exercises like the new 5 elements healing and then 30 min of the microcosmic universe meditation in full lotus or indian style depending on what you can do and as you przctice and build up the energy and then try to get to full lotus and do the 5 elements healing and microcosmic orbit before you go to sleep?
Hi Skyler - thanks for the questions. You probably heard that at first for the first 100 days or gong then there should be 3 times more standing active exercise. This is also to maintain celibacy of both mind and body. So the tummo breathing is taught as the Quick Fire breathing in the Taoist Yoga: alchemy and immortality book - the Quick Fire is followed by the Slow Fire. So the standing active exercise will initiate Quick Fire breathing as the leg muscles get sore and the Slow Fire is then when the yang qi - or adrenaline as you say - is activated and the energy goes back down the front (the yin channel) - and so then the Yuan Qi is activated via the tendons as ultrasonic and nonlocal qi energy.
So Dr. Brad Keeney calls this Shaking Medicine - if you check out the vid description I give a link to John Tsai doing this "shaking" healing of people - their bodies shake from receiving the energy. So that is more of a yang qi electrical charge. So then when the body shakes while doing standing active exercise - the key then is to relax the muscles but focus the energy into the bones and tendons - to store up the charge.
So at first we "pack" the energy via the muscles but then we switch over via parasympathetic rebound into the tendons and bones as being charged with Yuan Qi as an antigravity energy - via the central channel of the body.
And then when you begin feeling a strong magnetic force between the hands while doing the standing active exercises - the "breathing of the Universe" - then that will open up the body channels so there is more flexibility for full lotus meditation.
So yeah at first you do half lotus in small universe or sitting in a chair - doing small universe - and so the ratio of sitting to standing meditation depends on how much Qi you need to "cultivate" - while the actual sitting meditation is to HARVEST that qi.
The Harvesting is really the Purification of the Qi into more Yuan Qi via the rotation of the eyes during meditation and the Sun and Moon or yang shen and yin shen. So that is why the sitting meditation then leads to the Sun and Moon meditation - which is the middle section of the Taoist Yoga alchemy and immortality book - from chapters 6 to 10.
So then after the third eye opens up then the Emptiness on the lower tan tien is focused on - via building up more Yuan Qi and after chapter 10 of that book - you focus on building up the Yang Shen as a deeper level of Yuan Qi. So that is basically the Rainbow Body meditation of Level 4 and beyond in SFQ.
So we can learn this information but without the purification then we remain stuck in the first level of just trying to build up the yang qi from the yin qi - and then activate the Yuan Qi. haha.
