McGyvered Broadcast Spreader Agitator part 2: New design for light fluffy loam soil and grass seed mix

So we NEVER use this in the kitchen. Shhh - don't tell anyone!!

I desperately needed an agitator that works for light fluffy loam soil - aka "compost" - and with grass seed mixed in.

This thread has people using 3D printers to design new agitators for precisely this problem.

The agitator doesn't seem long or low enough to shake the material once it gets down to the last pound or so.

I'm pretty excited to try out my new agitator!

So the mixer whisk should push around the light fluffy soil.

Because the metal crosses over each other.

It will break up clumps also obviously as that is what a whisker does.

My first agitator design was the BEST one I have used so far (better than the purchased cotter pins as "agitators" sold by Z-spray, etc.

The problem was that it was catching in the opening slots - also it did not have enough of a "paddle" effect. So I hope the Whisk catches the soil better to push it around - instead of just sliding through.
