Modern Monetary Theory or MMT is based on the idea of the FED buying up treasury bonds with fake FED money but then the US government equally selling Treasury bonds to Wealthy private buyers. So that way the currency would not be deflated since it is taken out of circulation as an asset purchase. And then the government is supposed to invest the money into wealth creating jobs as production. This is all good in theory if private wealth can be "inspired" to purchase US bonds. But if the FED can not increase the interest rates because the FED has taken on so much assets and so the US government can not afford to pay back the interest rates on the Treasury bonds - therefore the FED has essentially bankrupted the US government. The FED has historically relied on a 6% return that is then "reinvested" back into the US government by buying MORE treasury bonds. The problem with this "reinvestment" is the FED money is just given back to the banks which then use it for speculative investments not real production investment. So then private wealth is not "inspired" to purchase bonds since the pay interest rate is way too low. And so essentially you have a parasitical elite wealth economy that kills off the real economy. More importantly the REAL economy is ecology and capitalism has relied on "primitive accumulation" as the rape of Nature. The East Siberian Arctic Shelf Methane Bomb has been triggered and US peoples have no idea what this means since the corporate-state mass mind control media has everyone so dumbed down. So that means that soon global warming will double and it will be too hot to grow food at scale. Also the Aerosol Masking Effect means another 1 Degree Celsius global warming is LOCKED IN as well. So we already killed off all life on earth as biological annihilation. This is just kind of the "grace period" as a delayed reaction of the REAL economy accelerating in destruction.
