Found 16 foot long inspection camera - for extra cheap price - and now it's vanished! New HD 5.5MM Inspection Endoscope Camera

 

So this is listed as $29 or $28 on a "direct from China" online site - the "Wish" site. It's the first time I bought from Wish...

I plan to use this to look down the stove pipe chimney - because I didn't use it that much last winter. So I need to totally take apart the insulation - to clean it out. Or maybe not. I might be able to "push" any creosote out - but I have a 30 degree angle. I will have to dismantle the stove connection at least.

Anyway - before I attempt to clean the stove pipe - since I checked the top and there was just some black marks but not really any creosote.

So even taking off the "rain cap" will be a pain - I can't remember how I connected it. haha. It did not pull off. ... I didn't want to just break it because there was not much black and no real creosote. It should be the worse there since the smoke would be coolest.

So that's why I'm getting this camera - just to make sure there's no creosote build up in the stove pipe.

So the closest Amazon camera is $40 but you get fast shipping. I just don't like to use Amazon much since their workers are way over worked in the warehouse - and the pay is not much for how much work they do.

So like I said - I tried to RE-find the product at the $25 price and it has VANISHED!!

So if you buy this camera domestically it's only 4 feet long and the same $25 price. But the one I ordered is 16 feet long and then $32 with the shipping cost. Sure it will take a month or three weeks to get here... but at least I'll be able to see down the whole stove pipe.

I wonder at 30 degrees angle - it might not even have enough gravity to overcome the friction of the stovepipe. Hilarious. It might not "fall" to the end of the pipe! I'll have to attach a weight? Or I'll figure it out...

I might be able to go up from the stove itself - if the cable is rigid enough.

So it should probably be the same "Semi-Rigid" as the other product - the specs are pretty much the same.

yeah the "flexible" is also called "semi-rigid" compared to the Rigid option for endoscope...

 yeah I don't see any reviews of this particular product. It's so generic that there's not even a Brand Name!!

And like I said I can't even find the same camera at the price I got. So there must be some algorithm to remove the lowest price of the selections? Same product with three different prices on the same site! Must be different sellers....
