thanks for sharing your take on all this. Yes my view that science is
actually a religion is not a very popular view, although there is
evidence for this. Not many people are interested in investigating that
possibility. But then we do have good evidence also that the original
human culture lived without war, without rape, and lived sustainably
from 100,000 years ago - so 90% of modern biological history. I would
say "why not stick with what worked?"! But again this would necessitate
actually studying what "worked" for the original human culture. Upon
investigation we find a radically different psychophysiology.
Actually
Wim Hof also made this discovery based on his study of Tibetan tummo
breathing - and he mastered it on his own and then got science to study
him. So the irony being that normally we think of nonwestern cultures as
being "religious" or subjective woo-woo, etc. But Wim Hof has proven
there is actually an ancient advanced science to a psychophysiology of
happiness, harmony, health, etc. Oh well. Yes for the last 10,000 years
humans have been messed up, with the rise of monocultural farming,
especially wheat.
Yes Science is our Mythology - it's like the water we
are immersed in. We HAVE to believe that science can "save" us - what
other choice do we have? Actually music is the origin of science and
music is also the means to understand nonwestern shamanism as well. But
music is not "science" per se - it is rather the metaphysics of science.
Alain Connes gets into this - he got a Fields Medal in math (much
harder to get than a Nobel prize). So I think he's precise or rigorous
enough with his science. He did an excellent lecture on music theory - a
take on music that corroborates precisely how the ancient, nonwestern
shamans understood music theory as well! Only for Connes this nonwestern
or noncommutative logic is the key to the unified relativistic quantum
science. Anyway Connes wants to try to "fix" the past 2000 years of the
wrong symmetric math logic (i.e. the algorithms you refer to).
No -
unfortunately Connes won't be able to do that - and other Western
scientists similarly want to use commutators to convert the
noncommutative phase logic back into standard symmetric math logic. Oh
well. At least they "discovered" the secret - like Eddie Oshins did at
Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. No these are not soft-headed
scientists. Oshins realized that nonwestern shamanic meditation as
mind-body training i.e. Daoist alchemy as Neigong, the basis for martial
arts, was actually the secret of noncommutative phase unified
relativistic quantum science. haha. His colleagues at SLAC agreed with
him - like math professor Louis Kauffman or H.P. Noyes (the theoretical
physics director at SLAC).
Yes the limitation of say "supercomputers"
in modeling ecology or global warming - is that the supercomputer
iterations are still based on symmetric logistic equations - i.e. Chaos
math is still symmetric math. So math professor Steve Strogatz, a chaos
expert who worked on the supercomputers, he stated back over 10 years
ago that science is now inherently AUTHORITARIAN. Indeed - the
supercomputers could care less whether humans get saved or save the
planet or whatever. The global warming scientists admit the
supercomputers can not take into account all the factors - like cloud
cover effects on global warming. Oops.
