So the main message of this book is how dreams and "flashes" (full text archive link) - as what we call today a "download" of information occurs - as the mystic creative process. This unique anthology brings together material from 38 well-known writers, artists, and scientists who attempt to describe the process by which original ideas come to them. ... Suddenly I kind of saw something and this melody came into my head.... It was like a soul reflection thing. I just had this trigger that life is passing very quickly. And the Journey [song link] came into my head, the melody. So I went downstairs and I started recording the music. The fact that you don't realize that time is passing until you look up in the mirror and see something in your face, you can see that you are getting older but you are still in that same place in a way, back there washing your hands. How quickly the time goes, .... and you're always searching for something but maybe THIS is the moment. Actually it is. THIS moment is the moment.
Her response was like singing! She was "almost" singing her response! Very melodic speaking.
As I read the comments to her song Dreams - a female wrote she always has an orgasm when listening to Dreams. Now maybe she was exaggerating but we know that musical chills is from increased dopamine and that is what orgasmic bliss is also - it is dopamine. Only for females it switches to serotonin bliss.
And then I read a guy's comment - actually it was a video interview - stating how he goes to the concerts with his girlfriend but he finds Dolore's singing to be a real "turn on."
So in the West we don't realize that the voice is the transmitter of the electrochemical jing energy. So the voice has psychic power. And so with the singing of Dolores - when she goes into the "yodeling" - someone commented - "chills at ..." and it was right when the yodeling started. And sure enough I got chills right when he said I would get chills! And so with her yodeling - she was singing from the heart.
But as she got older - her yodeling was not as powerful - her heart was not as open.
And she said how after her father died - at the funeral - her abuser went up to her and spoke to her - and this triggered her "demons" coming back. So again his voice was a psychic lower frequency energy that pulled her spirit down to a lower frequency again. And her life continued to go down after that.
She struggled to "maintain face" - but could not overcome the stress - along with all the other factors of modern living based on patriarchy.
Whereas her first song DREAMS is one of true love and still one of innocence. As she says - after their explosive popularity then they got "commodified."
Dolores said how she had to start her day with smoking - because she woke up nervous. And then she got a nervous breakdown. So then when she quit the tour - the contract deal was $6 million - and so she had to see a psychologist to get officially declared with "depression." But we know also that smoking causes depression.
Dolores also emphasized how she liked singing the old hits because she was able to feel young again and they were romantic songs. People are often surprised how music has this magical power to bring us back in time. It's even used to heal people with memory issues - because music activates the deep brain memories of the cerebellum emotional connection to the thalamus.
It is the neurosurgeon Eben Alexander who emphasizes how he had to remember a particular melody in his Near Death (post death) experience that was more real than being awake! He said only when he remembered the melody was he able to raise up in frequency - out of the stupor of his mind stuck in the doldrums. And yet in the deepest experience - the music was the most "coherent" and therefore the most "vivid" and realized this AUM sound emanated out of everything. He had no knowledge of OM from India - as the primordial sound. Yet he first experienced it! Then he learned about OM.
So he says our deepest brain stem does the phase synchronization at the microsecond level - and he believes this is consciousness as awareness.

One central tenet of Jeffress' model was coincidence detection between temporally precise inputs from both ears — neurons that would fire preferentially if their binaural inputs coincided exactly in time.Such coincidence detection has since been demonstrated in specialised auditory brainstem neurons of the avian (and crocodilian) nucleus laminaris and the mammalian medial superior olive 5, 6, which modulate their discharge rate as a function of interaural time difference. The nucleus laminaris and the medial superior olive, like much of the auditory system, are organised tonotopically. Thus, coincidence detection is performed many times in parallel, by neurons tuned to different frequencies. Inherently, higher-frequency neurons achieve better temporal resolution. This is because the temporal information is conveyed by each ear via precise phase locking (Figure 1):
In other words, those neurons handle frequency signals that are much faster than spikes! But how exactly do they achieve that?
